Purchase order
Overview
This capability enables primes to order items, such as parts, and then maintain a record of the delivery of the items and to manage any deviations that might arise before manufacturing and any concessions on a manufactured item.
Summary of features
The following features are supported by this capability:
- Identification of a purchase (resource) order and the items being ordered
- A record of items delivered in response to the purchase order
- Identification and approval of deviations from the specifications for the items to be procured
- Identification and approval of concessions on a manufactured item.
