Work package order

The sharing of information with a supplier is controlled by a work package order which represents a package of work that is to be performed by a supplier organization under contract to the prime (acquirer) and a set of information necessary for the supplier organization to perform that work.

The work could be initiated by the prime as a:

• a request for manufacture of a product by a supplier.
• a request for information about a product from a supplier.
